Three minor girls who went missing from Nuruddinpur Dudhela village in Bihpur police station area, Bhagalpur, have been safely located by Nathnagar police through prompt action. Thanks to the vigilance of local residents and the swift response of the police, the girls were reunited with their families on Friday.

According to reports, the three girls arrived in Nathnagar by boat on Thursday. After disembarking at the Champa River Ghat, they lost their way and were wandering around. Local residents grew suspicious after seeing them alone and frightened near the ghat for a prolonged period. The citizens immediately informed the Nathnagar police station. Upon receiving the information, police promptly arrived at the scene and safely brought the three girls to the station.

During questioning, the girls provided their family and village names. Following this, Nathnagar police immediately contacted Bihpur police station. Upon receiving the information, the families, accompanied by Bihpur police, arrived in Nathnagar. After completing formalities, the girls were handed over to their respective families. The rescued girls have been identified as Sapna Kumari (9 years), Champa Kumari (5 years), and Pooja Kumari (6 years). Sapna and Champa are daughters of Mohan Mandal, while Pooja is the daughter of Pawan Mandal. All of them are residents of Nuruddinpur Dudhela, Bihpur.

Nathnagar Police Station Inspector Parmeshwar Sahni stated that based on information from local citizens, the three girls were safely brought to the station from the Champa River area. After investigation, they were safely handed over to their families. The families expressed their gratitude to the local residents and the police administration for the safe return of their children.
