A significant peace committee meeting was convened on Saturday at the Birpur Police Station premises in Begusarai, with the primary objective of ensuring a peaceful and harmonious celebration of the Shri Krishna Janmashtami festival. The meeting saw the presence of key administrative and public figures, including the Block Development Officer (BDO), Circle Officer Bhai Virendra, Station House Officer (SHO) Raju Ranjan, Block Chief, 20-point committee president, various Panchayat Mukhiyas and Sarpanchs, other public representatives, members of the peace committee, and representatives from three major puja committees.

During the discussion, extensive deliberations were held on crucial issues such as maintaining law and order, fostering mutual brotherhood, and upholding social harmony during the Janmashtami festivities. Administrative officials appealed to the representatives of the puja committees and public representatives to cooperate actively in maintaining peace and order throughout the festival. Officials specifically urged attendees not to pay heed to any rumors and to immediately report any untoward incidents to the administration and police for prompt action.

In response, representatives of the puja committees assured the administration of their full cooperation. The public representatives and peace committee members present at the meeting urged all residents to celebrate Janmashtami with mutual love, brotherhood, and goodwill. The meeting concluded with all participants resolving to ensure the festival is conducted peacefully and in an organized manner.
