Teachers of Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University (BNMU) are set to stage a protest on July 20 within the university premises to press for their various demands. Meanwhile, teachers from private colleges across Bihar are also raising their voices. All private college teachers in Bihar will organize a major road march in the capital, Patna, on July 22. This march aims to highlight the long-standing problems faced by private college teachers. Their main demands include regular salary payments, improved service conditions, and the provision of facilities equivalent to those enjoyed by government college teachers. Private college teachers claim they are compelled to work for low wages and their service conditions are unsatisfactory. Through this road march, they intend to draw the government's attention to their issues and demand immediate solutions. Both teacher movements are expected to impact the state's higher education system.
