A BPSC teacher in Shivhar district has been accused of abducting a minor eighth-grade student from her maternal grandparents' home. The student's father has filed an FIR against the teacher, Prashant Kumar, at the Shivhar Town Police Station. The incident reportedly occurred on October 18.

According to the complaint, approximately 20 days prior to this incident, the teacher had also attempted to abduct the student from Nonfarwa village. At that time, the student was brought back, and a village panchayat was held to address the matter. Following this, her family sent the student to her maternal grandparents' house in Shivhar for her safety.

However, it is alleged that on October 18, Prashant Kumar arrived at her grandparents' residence and took the student with him. Upon learning of the incident, the student's father extensively searched for his daughter. When she could not be traced, he lodged a complaint against the teacher at the Shivhar Town Police Station.

The case has become a subject of discussion in the area. Patahi Station House Officer Abhishek Kumar confirmed that the matter is under their cognizance and has been registered at Shivhar Town Police Station. Further action is being taken by the concerned police station. Police are currently working to locate the student and apprehend the accused teacher. The allegations made in the FIR regarding this sensitive case involving a minor student will be confirmed only after a thorough investigation.
