A new car lost control and plunged into a ditch near Umri village on the Jhanjharpur-Madhepur main road within the Lakhnaur police station area. The incident occurred on Wednesday, but fortunately, neither the driver nor anyone else was injured, averting a major mishap.

According to information received, the new car, while traveling on the main road, suddenly went out of control and fell into a deep ditch by the roadside. The driver, however, escaped unhurt. Following the accident, a crowd of local residents gathered at the scene.

Demonstrating promptness, locals attempted to retrieve the car from the ditch. A JCB machine was called to the site. With the help of the JCB, a path was made in the ditch, and after considerable effort, the car was safely pulled out. There was no loss of life or property in the accident, bringing relief to the locals and authorities. The incident highlights the continued importance of road safety and cautious driving.
