Four individuals sustained serious injuries in a major road accident that occurred on Wednesday morning at Chakai Chowk in Jamui district. The collision involved a refined oil tanker and a Scorpio car. Preliminary reports suggest that the accident was caused by the tanker driver falling asleep at the wheel.

The injured, all residents of Bokaro, were reportedly traveling for some work when the unfortunate incident took place near Chakai Chowk. The impact of the collision was severe, causing significant damage to both vehicles, particularly the front end of the Scorpio.

Upon receiving information about the accident, local police immediately arrived at the scene and initiated rescue operations. With the assistance of the police and local residents, all injured individuals were promptly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
