In a daring incident in Chakai, Jamui district, two individuals were robbed after being lured under the pretext of a wedding video shoot. The incident reportedly occurred on Monday night. Armed criminals held the victims at gunpoint, making off with valuable equipment including a drone camera, a video camera, mobile phones, and cash, estimated to be worth lakhs of rupees.

The victims, who work as videographers, were returning home late after a wedding assignment when they were intercepted by a group of unknown assailants. The criminals tricked them into believing there was another wedding shoot opportunity and led them to a secluded location. There, they were robbed of all their belongings. The stolen items comprise a drone camera, a video camera, two mobile phones, and an undisclosed amount of cash. Concerns grew among the victims' families when they didn't return home, leading to the discovery of the robbery.

Following the incident, the victims managed to escape and informed their families, who then reported the matter to the Chakai police station. The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation to identify and apprehend the culprits. This incident has caused alarm in the area, with locals demanding swift action from the authorities to restore law and order.
