A tragic incident has come to light in Bhagalpur, where the son of a Chandika bus owner allegedly died by suicide. The deceased has been identified as 32-year-old Gaurav Kumar, who worked at TVS Finance. Following the incident, Gaurav's wife has leveled serious allegations against her 'gotia' (paternal relatives), claiming land grabbing and continuous harassment.

According to police sources, Gaurav Kumar's body was found hanging in his house. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene, took custody of the body, and sent it for post-mortem examination. The initial investigation suggests it is a case of suicide. However, the statements made by Gaurav's wife have given a new twist to the case.

The deceased's wife informed the police that her husband had been suffering from mental stress for some time. She alleged that her 'gotia', who are her husband's uncle and cousins, were attempting to seize their ancestral property. Due to this dispute, Gaurav and his family were under constant pressure. The wife stated that her husband took this extreme step due to the harassment and threats from the 'gotia'.

The police have taken the wife's allegations seriously and have initiated a thorough investigation into the matter. The role of the accused 'gotia' in abetment to suicide and other aspects related to the land dispute are being investigated. Police stated that further action would be taken based on the post-mortem report and other evidence.
