Four houses were completely gutted in a massive fire triggered by a short circuit in Chandpura village, raising fears of damages worth lakhs of rupees. The fire spread rapidly, giving residents little time to react, and quickly engulfed the four homes, reducing them to ashes.

Local villagers made strenuous efforts to douse the flames, but the intensity of the fire made it challenging to bring under control. The fire department was informed, but by the time they arrived, significant damage had already occurred, with most of the household belongings destroyed. The affected families now face a severe crisis, having lost their shelter, food grains, clothes, utensils, and other essential household items.

Villagers have appealed to the administration for immediate assistance to provide relief to the victims. They emphasized that government aid is their only hope in this difficult time. While there were no reported casualties, the property loss is substantial. Investigations are underway to determine the exact cause of the fire, though initial findings point to a short circuit.
