रजौन में पानी टंकी के चैंबर में मिला नाग, वन विभाग ने किया सुरक्षित रेस्क्यू

बांका जिले के रजौन प्रखंड अंतर्गत संझा-श्यामपुर पंचायत के नया टोला मधाय गांव में एक पानी की टंकी के चैंबर में जहरीला नाग मिलने से ग्रामीणों में हड़कंप मच गया। शुक्रवार सुबह पीएचईडी विभाग की पानी टंकी के नीचे बने अपशिष्ट जल के चैंबर में यह गेंहूअन खरिस (नाग) देखा गया। पानी से आधे भरे इस चैंबर में नाग फन फैलाकर तैर रहा था, जिसे देखने के लिए ग्रामीणों की भीड़ उमड़ पड़ी।
स्थानीय लोगों ने बताया कि चैंबर लोहे की जालीनुमा ढक्कन से ढका था, जिससे आशंका है कि रात में मेढकों का शिकार करते समय सांप जाली के बीच से अंदर गिर गया होगा। पूर्व पंचायत समिति सदस्य प्रतिनिधि विपिन साह ने तत्काल मीडिया और वन विभाग को घटना की सूचना दी। सूचना मिलते ही बौंसी वन प्रक्षेत्र के वन परिसर पदाधिकारी पांडव कुमार, वन उप परिसर पदाधिकारी अमित कुमार और बांका रेस्क्यू टीम के प्रदीप कुमार साह मौके पर पहुंचे। रेस्क्यू विशेषज्ञ प्रदीप कुमार साह ने जहरीले नाग को एक डब्बे में सुरक्षित बंद कर दिया।
रेस्क्यू टीम के सदस्य प्रदीप कुमार साह ने अपना मोबाइल नंबर 6204447816 सार्वजनिक करते हुए लोगों से अपील की है कि वे किसी भी परिस्थिति में जहरीले जीवों को नुकसान न पहुंचाएं, बल्कि तुरंत रेस्क्यू टीम को सूचित करें ताकि उन्हें सुरक्षित पकड़ा जा सके और उनके प्राकृतिक आवास में छोड़ा जा सके। इस घटना ने गांव में कुछ देर के लिए कौतूहल और भय का माहौल बना दिया था।
Panic gripped the residents of Naya Tola Madhay village in Sanjha-Shyampur Panchayat, Rajaun block, Banka district, after a venomous cobra was discovered in the chamber of a water tank. On Friday morning, the cobra, identified as a 'Gehuwan Kharis' (a type of cobra), was spotted in the wastewater chamber located beneath a PHED department water tank.
The snake was seen swimming with its hood spread in the half-filled chamber, attracting a large crowd of curious villagers. Local residents suggested that the cobra might have fallen into the chamber through the gaps in its iron mesh lid while hunting frogs during the night. Vipin Sah, a former Panchayat Samiti member representative, promptly informed the media and the Forest Department about the incident.
Responding to the call, Bounsi Forest Range officials Pandav Kumar, Amit Kumar, and Pradeep Kumar Sah from the Banka rescue team arrived at the scene. Rescue expert Pradeep Kumar Sah safely secured the venomous snake in a box. Sah also shared his mobile number (6204447816), urging people not to harm venomous creatures under any circumstances but to immediately contact the rescue team for their safe capture and release into their natural habitat.
