Bounsi/Bhagalpur. An FIR has been lodged at Bounsi police station against Kartik Chaudhary and Ganesh Chaudhary, directors of Dam Road Fashion Mart, following a complaint by Bhagalpur-based cloth merchant Sanjay Bajoria. The case pertains to a business transaction dispute involving an outstanding payment of approximately 27.15 lakh rupees for readymade garments.

Complainant Sanjay Bajoria stated that regular transactions based on GST bills took place between both parties. Despite multiple attempts to contact them, written requests, and efforts to resolve the dispute mutually, the outstanding amount was not paid. Bajoria alleges that when the demand for payment intensified, Kartik Chaudhary sent a legal notice through an advocate on June 18, 2026. This notice reportedly cited an alleged family settlement to deny the liability, prompting Bajoria to file a case at Bounsi police station. The police are currently investigating the matter.
