The Agniveer recruitment rally is set to commence on September 22 at KLP Maidan in Chandmari, Danapur, and will continue until October 7. Approximately 11,042 shortlisted male and female candidates from Bihar and Jharkhand are expected to participate. Recruitment Director Colonel Bindu Agnihotri stated in a press conference that special arrangements have been made by the army and district administration to ensure a transparent, fair, and merit-based recruitment process, prioritizing the convenience and safety of the candidates.

Under the second phase of the Agniveer recruitment rally 2026-27, shortlisted male candidates from Patna, Buxar, Bhojpur, Siwan, Saran, Gopalganj, and Vaishali districts will participate in the Agniveer General Duty (GD) category from September 22 to 25. Following this, from September 26 to 29, candidates from the same districts will undergo the recruitment process for Agniveer Technical and Office Assistant/Storekeeper Technical categories. On September 30, a recruitment rally will be held for male candidates who have passed the 8th and 10th grades.

From October 1 to 4, around 3,500 shortlisted male candidates from Bihar and Jharkhand will participate in the Agniveer Clerk/Storekeeper Technical (SKT) category. Subsequently, on October 6 and 7, approximately 253 shortlisted female candidates from Bihar and Jharkhand will undergo the recruitment process for Agniveer General Duty (Women Military Police), also known as AVWMP.

This year, the running component of the rally will be conducted on the road. In anticipation of rain, candidates have been advised to wear appropriate shoes for a safe run. The army has made necessary arrangements, including marquees, for the convenience and safety of the candidates. Jeevika Didis (women self-help group members) are assisting with food arrangements for the participants, with a kitchen facility set up at the venue. Admit cards for the candidates were sent to their online profiles on September 18, 2026, and they have been instructed to report to the recruitment site with the required documents at the specified date and time.
