According to reports, the conflict originated from the buying and selling of a mobile number. One party claimed to have sold a mobile number to the other but alleged non-payment. The other party, however, contended that they had either paid for the number or never received it. What began as a verbal disagreement quickly intensified, leading to a physical confrontation between members of both groups.

Eyewitnesses described a fierce altercation involving sticks, rods, and stones, leaving several people injured, some seriously. Local residents immediately informed the police, who arrived at the scene to bring the situation under control. Police acted swiftly, apprehending four main accused involved in the clash.
