To strengthen and discipline the police system in Darbhanga district, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jagunath Reddy Jala Reddy has transferred three police officers. An order issued by the SSP on August 12 instructs all concerned officers to immediately report to their new postings.

Following the suspension of Barhgaon Station Head Officer (SHO) Vinita Kumari, the vacant post has been filled by Sub-Inspector Rahul Kumar, previously stationed at Simri police station. Kumar faces the significant responsibility of maintaining law and order, investigating pending cases, and controlling crime in the area.

In a related move, Hayaghat police station's SHO, Sub-Inspector Ravindra Bharti, has been transferred to the Police Headquarters, Darbhanga. Sub-Inspector Balwant Kumar, formerly of Sadar police station, has been appointed as the new SHO for Hayaghat. Kumar's challenges include crime control, effective enforcement of the prohibition law, execution of warrants, and swift resolution of pending cases within the Hayaghat police station area.

The process of assuming new responsibilities has begun at the respective police stations following the SSP's order. This reshuffle of police officers is seen as an effort to make policing more effective and disciplined in the district. The performance of the new officers in crime control, case resolution, and maintaining law and order in their respective jurisdictions will be closely monitored.
