पटना के धनरूआ थाना क्षेत्र के बांस बिगहा गांव में 60 वर्षीय कुसुम देवी की बृहस्पतिवार को संदिग्ध परिस्थितियों में मौत हो गई। परिजनों ने आशंका जताई है कि उन्हें जहरीला पदार्थ दिया गया था। सूचना मिलने के बाद धनरूआ थाना पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए पीएमसीएच भेज दिया।
मृतका स्वर्गीय अरुण प्रसाद की पत्नी थीं और उनकी कोई संतान नहीं थी। तबीयत बिगड़ने के बाद उन्हें अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था, जहां इलाज के दौरान उन्होंने दम तोड़ दिया। मृतका के भतीजे ने अपने गोतिया (रिश्तेदारों) पर कुसुम देवी को जहर देकर हत्या करने का गंभीर आरोप लगाया है।
धनरूआ थानाध्यक्ष अमित कुमार ने बताया कि मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए एफएसएल टीम को भी सूचित किया गया है, जो घटनास्थल से आवश्यक साक्ष्य जुटाएगी। पुलिस सभी पहलुओं पर गहनता से छानबीन कर रही है। मौत के वास्तविक कारणों का खुलासा पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट और पुलिस जांच के बाद ही हो पाएगा। पुलिस द्वारा आगे की कानूनी कार्रवाई सुनिश्चित की जा रही है।
A 60-year-old woman, Kusum Devi, died under suspicious circumstances on Thursday in Bans Bigha village, Dhanarua police station area, Patna. Her family has alleged that she was poisoned by relatives. Police reached the spot after receiving information and sent the body to PMCH for post-mortem.
Kusum Devi, wife of the late Arun Prasad, had no children. She was admitted to the hospital after her health deteriorated, where she passed away during treatment. Her nephew has leveled serious allegations against their extended family (gotia), accusing them of poisoning Kusum Devi.
Dhanarua Station House Officer Amit Kumar stated that considering the seriousness of the case, the FSL team has also been informed to collect necessary evidence from the crime scene. Police are thoroughly investigating all aspects. The actual cause of death will only be revealed after the post-mortem report and police investigation. Further legal action is being taken by the police.
