A shocking incident has come to light in the Benipatti police station area of Madhubani district, where a Dial 112 police team was attacked. The incident occurred when the police team arrived at the scene after receiving a report of a robbery involving a vegetable vendor. The criminals not only carried out the robbery but also assaulted the police personnel with iron rods, leaving them injured.

According to available information, a vegetable vendor was robbed in the Benipatti police station area. The vendor immediately called Dial 112 to inform the police. Upon receiving the information, the Dial 112 team promptly reached the spot. Seeing the police team, the criminals attempted to flee, but when the police pursued them, they launched an attack on the officers themselves.

The criminals used iron rods to strike the police personnel, injuring some of them. Following the assault, the criminals managed to escape from the scene. The injured police officers were immediately taken to a local hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment. Their injuries are not reported to be severe, but this incident poses a significant challenge to law and order.

The Superintendent of Police (SP) has taken cognizance of the incident and has formed a special team to apprehend the culprits. He stated that the criminals would be caught as soon as possible, and strict legal action would be taken against them.
