The District Magistrate (DM) conducted a crucial meeting with revenue department officials on Tuesday to undertake a comprehensive review of various revenue-related matters. Key issues such as pending mutation (dakhil-kharij), land purification (parimarjan), rent fixation (lagan nirdharan), online mutation, and revenue collection were discussed during the session. The DM expressed particular concern over cases that have been pending for a long time and issued strict instructions for their prompt disposal.

Officials were explicitly directed to resolve all pending cases within a stipulated timeframe. The DM warned that severe action would be taken against concerned officers if cases are not disposed of on time. Emphasizing the direct link between the revenue department and the public, the DM highlighted that the department's functioning directly impacts common people, thus necessitating transparency and efficiency.

All Circle Officers (Anchaladhikari), Revenue Officers, and other relevant officials present at the meeting were instructed to prepare a list of pending cases in their respective areas and ensure their disposal on a priority basis. The DM also stressed the need to strengthen the online system to prevent citizens from having to visit government offices repeatedly for revenue-related work. Directives were also given to make special efforts to achieve revenue collection targets.

The primary objective of this review meeting was to streamline revenue administration and provide timely services to the public. The DM also instructed that progress reports be submitted on a monthly basis to monitor the disposal of cases.
