Dr. Mithilesh Kumar, the Head of the Department of English at CM College, Darbhanga, retired from his services on Tuesday. A farewell ceremony was organized in the college premises on the occasion of his retirement, attended by the Principal of the college, Dr. Mohammad Shahabuddin, along with several teachers and staff members.

Dr. Shahabuddin lauded Dr. Mithilesh Kumar's contributions, stating that he worked with honesty and dedication throughout his tenure. Under his guidance, the English department achieved numerous milestones. Dr. Mithilesh Kumar played a significant role in providing quality education to students and elevating the department to new heights. He made tireless efforts to foster an interest in the English language among students and to help them succeed academically and professionally.

On this occasion, Dr. Rajendra Ram, the new Head of the English Department, also expressed his gratitude towards Dr. Mithilesh Kumar and resolved to follow the path he laid out. Dr. Ram acknowledged that Dr. Mithilesh Kumar has provided a strong foundation for the department, and building upon it will be his priority.

Other teachers and staff members present at the farewell ceremony shared their experiences with Dr. Mithilesh Kumar and wished him a happy retired life. Dr. Mithilesh Kumar expressed his gratitude to everyone, stating that his time at CM College has been a significant part of his life and that he will always remain connected to the institution.
