One person was killed and three others, including a woman and two girls, were injured in a tragic e-rickshaw accident in Khodawandpur block of Begusarai district. The incident occurred near the Fafaut Mahna dam when an e-rickshaw lost control and overturned. The deceased has been identified as 55-year-old Shambhu Paswan, a resident of Fafaut village within the Khodawandpur police station area.

According to eyewitnesses, the e-rickshaw was carrying several passengers when it suddenly became uncontrollable near the Fafaut Mahna dam and overturned at high speed. Shambhu Paswan, who was among the passengers, sustained severe injuries. He was immediately rushed to the hospital with the help of locals, but he succumbed to his injuries on the way. The injured include a woman and two young girls, who also sustained serious injuries. They were transported to a nearby health center for treatment with the assistance of locals and the police. Their condition is reported to be stable, and they are currently under observation.

Upon receiving information about the incident, Khodawandpur police arrived at the scene, took custody of the body, and sent it for post-mortem examination. The e-rickshaw has also been seized, and an investigation into the cause of the accident has been initiated. The incident has cast a pall of gloom over Fafaut village and its surrounding areas. Shambhu Paswan's family is in deep mourning. Local administration has assured all possible assistance to the family of the deceased. Appeals have been made to adhere to road safety rules and exercise caution while driving to prevent such accidents in the future.
