आगरा कैंट में रेलवे कर्मचारियों पर हुए हमले के विरोध में ईस्ट सेंट्रल रेलवे कर्मचारी यूनियन (ECRKU) समस्तीपुर मंडल ने अपना विरोध प्रदर्शन दर्ज कराया। मंडल संयोजक संजय कुमार सिंह के नेतृत्व में मंडल के विभिन्न कार्यालयों में कर्मचारियों ने प्रदर्शन किया। इस दौरान कर्मचारियों ने घटना की निंदा करते हुए दोषियों पर सख्त कार्रवाई की मांग की।
ECRKU के मंडल संयोजक संजय कुमार सिंह ने बताया कि आगरा कैंट में रेलवे के रनिंग कर्मचारियों के साथ मारपीट की घटना अत्यंत निंदनीय है। उन्होंने कहा कि ड्यूटी पर तैनात कर्मचारियों के साथ ऐसा व्यवहार किसी भी सूरत में बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जाएगा। सिंह ने मांग की कि इस घटना में शामिल उपद्रवियों की पहचान कर उनके खिलाफ रेलवे अधिनियम और अन्य संबंधित धाराओं के तहत कड़ी कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाए। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि रेलवे कर्मचारियों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करना प्रशासन की जिम्मेदारी है और भविष्य में ऐसी घटनाओं की पुनरावृत्ति रोकने के लिए ठोस कदम उठाए जाने चाहिए।
विरोध प्रदर्शन में शामिल कर्मचारियों ने हाथों में तख्तियां लेकर नारेबाजी की। उन्होंने रेलवे प्रशासन से आग्रह किया कि वह अपने कर्मचारियों की सुरक्षा के प्रति अधिक गंभीर हो। प्रदर्शनकारियों ने चेतावनी दी कि यदि दोषियों के खिलाफ तत्काल कार्रवाई नहीं की गई, तो यूनियन बड़े पैमाने पर आंदोलन करने को मजबूर होगी। इस विरोध प्रदर्शन में बड़ी संख्या में रेलकर्मी शामिल हुए, जिन्होंने एकजुटता दिखाते हुए अपने साथियों के प्रति समर्थन व्यक्त किया। उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया कि रेलवे कर्मचारी अपनी सुरक्षा को लेकर किसी भी प्रकार का समझौता नहीं करेंगे।

Sanjay Kumar Singh, ECRKU Divisional Convener, stated that the assault on running staff at Agra Cantt is highly deplorable. He emphasized that such behavior towards employees on duty would not be tolerated under any circumstances. Singh demanded that the miscreants involved in the incident be identified and stringent legal action be taken against them under the Railway Act and other relevant sections. He also stressed that ensuring the safety of railway employees is the administration's responsibility, and concrete steps should be taken to prevent recurrence of such incidents in the future.
Employees participating in the protest carried placards and raised slogans, urging the railway administration to take the safety of its employees more seriously. Protesters warned that if immediate action is not taken against the culprits, the union would be forced to launch a larger agitation. A large number of railway workers participated, showing solidarity and support for their colleagues, making it clear that railway employees would not compromise on their safety.
