An elderly man was seriously injured on Tuesday morning in Pachmahua village, under Sikandra police station in Jamui district, after being hit by a speeding pickup truck. The injured individual has been identified as Nagina Paswan, a resident of Pachmahua village. Following the incident, the pickup driver fled the scene with the vehicle.

According to available information, Nagina Paswan had left his home on Tuesday morning to go to the toilet. As soon as he reached the road, a fast-moving pickup truck struck him forcefully, causing him to fall and sustain severe injuries. The driver did not stop after the collision and sped away.

Upon receiving news of the accident, family members and local residents rushed to the spot. Relatives immediately took the injured Nagina Paswan to Sikandra Primary Health Center (PHC) for treatment. After initial first aid, given his critical condition, he was referred to Sadar Hospital Jamui for better medical care. He is currently undergoing treatment at Sadar Hospital under the supervision of Dr. Ravi Madhav. The family remains deeply concerned after the incident.
