गिरफ्तार आरोपित की पहचान पाठकचक गांव निवासी अयोध्या यादव के पुत्र दिवेश कुमार के रूप में हुई है। वह मुंबई में साइबर अपराध की वारदातों को अंजाम देकर अपने गांव में आकर छिपा हुआ था। सिकंदरा थानाध्यक्ष विकास कुमार ने इस घटना की पुष्टि की। उन्होंने बताया कि नवी मुंबई के सीबीडी (CBD) पुलिस स्टेशन में साइबर धोखाधड़ी से संबंधित कांड संख्या 190/26 दर्ज किया गया था।
इस मामले की तकनीकी जांच और सर्विलांस के आधार पर मुंबई पुलिस को यह सुराग मिला कि घटना में शामिल मुख्य संदिग्ध जमुई जिले के सिकंदरा थाना क्षेत्र में छिपा हुआ है। सूचना मिलने के बाद नवी मुंबई पुलिस की एक विशेष टीम सिकंदरा पहुंची और स्थानीय पुलिस से संपर्क साधा। इसके बाद सिकंदरा थाना पुलिस के साथ मिलकर एक संयुक्त टीम गठित की गई।
संयुक्त पुलिस टीम ने पूरी सतर्कता बरतते हुए पाठकचक गांव में चिह्नित ठिकाने पर छापेमारी की। पुलिस को देखकर आरोपित दिवेश ने भागने की कोशिश की, लेकिन जवानों ने घेराबंदी कर उसे मौके पर ही पकड़ लिया। पहचान की पुष्टि होने के बाद सिकंदरा पुलिस ने आवश्यक कागजी कार्रवाई पूरी करते हुए आरोपित को औपचारिक रूप से मुंबई पुलिस के हवाले कर दिया।
मुंबई पुलिस के अधिकारी आरोपित दिवेश को अपने साथ महाराष्ट्र ले जाने के लिए स्थानीय व्यवहार न्यायालय से ट्रांजिट रिमांड हासिल करने की कानूनी प्रक्रिया पूरी कर रहे हैं। ट्रांजिट रिमांड स्वीकृत होते ही उसे फ्लाइट या ट्रेन के जरिए नवी मुंबई ले जाया जाएगा, जहां उससे ठगी के नेटवर्क, बैंक खातों और सिंडिकेट में शामिल अन्य साथियों के बारे में गहन पूछताछ की जाएगी। पुलिस अधिकारियों का कहना है कि यह कार्रवाई दर्शाती है कि साइबर ठगी कर दूर-दराज के राज्यों में छिपने वाले अपराधी अब कानून के लंबे हाथों से बच नहीं सकते।

The accused, identified as Divyesh Kumar, son of Ayodhya Yadav, a resident of Pathakchak village, was arrested from his home in the Sikandra police station area. He had been hiding in his native village after committing cyber crimes in Mumbai. Sikandra Station House Officer Vikas Kumar confirmed the incident.
Kumar stated that a case (No. 190/26) related to cyber fraud was registered at the CBD Police Station in Navi Mumbai. Based on technical investigation and surveillance, Mumbai Police received intelligence that the main suspect involved in the incident was taking refuge in the Sikandra police station area of Jamui district.
Following this lead, a special team from Navi Mumbai Police arrived in Sikandra and coordinated with the local police. A joint team was formed with the Sikandra Police, which then raided the identified location in Pathakchak village. Divyesh attempted to flee upon seeing the police but was surrounded and apprehended on the spot.
After confirming his identity, the Sikandra Police completed the necessary paperwork and formally handed over the accused to the Mumbai Police. Navi Mumbai Police officials are now completing legal procedures to obtain transit remand from the local court to take Divyesh to Maharashtra. Once the transit remand is approved, he will be transported to Navi Mumbai for further interrogation regarding the fraud network, bank accounts, and other syndicate members. Police officials emphasized that this action demonstrates that cyber criminals hiding in distant states can no longer escape the long arm of the law.
