Approximately 800 liters of seized domestic and foreign liquor were destroyed on Saturday at the Imamganj police station premises in Gaya district. This destruction drive was led by CI Guddu Kumar and Excise Department SI Omprakash Kumar.

The liquor destroyed included 600 liters of Mahua (country liquor) and 200 liters of English liquor. This stock was seized in various cases from five different police stations within the Imamganj sub-division: Dumariya, Chakrabandha, Bhadwar, Raushanganj, and Maigra. Officials stated that the action was carried out at the police station premises in the presence of senior officers, after completing all necessary legal procedures.

Police officials present during the drive reiterated that the administration's campaign against illegal liquor trade will continue relentlessly. They warned that strict action would be taken against anyone violating the law. This initiative marks a significant step towards effectively enforcing the prohibition law in Bihar.
