A monthly crime review meeting was held on Tuesday at the Ghoghardiha Police Station premises in Madhubani district. The meeting was chaired by Jhanjharpur SDPO Amit Kumar, who extensively discussed the law and order situation in the Ghoghardiha police station area. The SDPO issued crucial directives for the speedy disposal of pending cases and ensuring the arrest of wanted individuals.

During the meeting, SDPO Amit Kumar specifically emphasized cases that have been pending for a long time. He instructed the Station House Officer and other police officials present to prioritize these cases to expedite the justice process. Strict instructions were also given regarding the arrest of warrant holders, ensuring that criminals do not evade the clutches of the law. The SDPO clarified that any laxity in arresting wanted individuals would not be tolerated.

To control crime and maintain law and order, the SDPO discussed several other important points. He called for increased patrolling in the area and close monitoring of suspicious activities. Special campaigns were also directed to effectively implement the liquor ban and crack down on illegal liquor trade. The SDPO stressed that the police should establish better coordination with the public to receive timely information about crimes and take swift action.
