A violent clash erupted between two factions over a land dispute in Supauli village, under the Sidhwalia police station area of Gopalganj district. Four people, including a woman, sustained serious injuries in the altercation. All the injured have been admitted to the Sadar Hospital for immediate treatment, where they are currently under medical supervision.

Among the injured are Mankeshwar Singh, Chameli Devi (wife of Kanhaiya Singh), Kanhaiya Singh, and Soni Kumari (daughter of Jogindra Singh), all residents of Supauli village. The victims allege that their relatives were forcibly encroaching upon approximately three bighas of land. When they protested against this illegal occupation and demanded their legal rights to the land, the accused party allegedly attacked them with sticks, batons, and sharp weapons.

A woman also suffered severe injuries in the assault. Upon hearing screams, local residents gathered at the spot, leading the attackers to flee. With the help of locals, the injured were initially taken to the local hospital in Sidhwalia, from where they were referred to Sadar Hospital due to their critical condition.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the police immediately launched an investigation into the matter. The police stated that there was a pre-existing land dispute between the two parties. They further added that strict legal action would be taken against the accused once a formal complaint is filed.
