On Monday evening, police recovered the body of a teenage girl from a village within Muda Panchayat, Govindganj police station area. The deceased was a Class 6 student. According to her family, all members were occupied with various tasks on Monday, the day of the incident. The exact cause of death remains unclear.

Upon receiving information, Govindganj Station House Officer (SHO) Sachchidanand Pandey arrived at the scene. Police took custody of the girl's body and sent it to Motihari for post-mortem examination. The SHO stated that the teenager's body was found outside the room. Family members allege that an unknown assailant hanged her, leading to her death. Police are conducting a thorough investigation into the matter. Meanwhile, an FSL (Forensic Science Lab) team also inspected the crime scene and, in its preliminary findings, indicated death by hanging. Police are actively engaged in their investigation to unravel the mystery surrounding the incident.
