Six youths were arrested in Govindpur police station area on Saturday night around 8:30 PM. Police intercepted a four-wheeler near the Bajrangbali temple in Govindpur market and took the occupants into custody. According to reports, the vehicle was speeding from Jharkhand towards the Bihar border. Near the Bihar-Jharkhand border, Govindpur police signaled the driver to stop with a torch, but the driver ignored the signal, increased speed, and attempted to flee.

The police pursued the vehicle and apprehended it near the Bajrangbali temple in Govindpur market. During the inspection, all six youths in the vehicle were found to be under the influence of alcohol. They were taken to the police station, where their intoxication was confirmed, leading to their arrest.

Upon receiving news of the incident, a crowd of villagers gathered at the spot. Station House Officer Vijay Kumar and SI Braj Kishor stated that all youths are safely held at the police station, and further legal action is being taken.
