In Babubarhi block of Madhubani district, 30 members of the Gram Raksha Dal (Village Defense Group) received new uniforms on Sunday. The dress distribution ceremony, held at the Babubarhi Panchayat Bhawan auditorium, significantly boosted the morale of the members, who expressed great enthusiasm. The event was presided over by Gram Raksha Dal District President Ram Prasad Raut.

Additional Station House Officer Amrita Singh and Zila Parishad member Randhir Khanna attended as chief guests. Addressing the gathering, the chief guests lauded the selfless contributions of the Gram Raksha Dal members. Speakers emphasized the crucial role played by the Gram Raksha Dal in maintaining security, peace, and social order at the panchayat level, acting as a vital support for the police administration. Their promptness in night patrolling and resolving local issues was particularly commended. It was highlighted that the new uniforms would further enhance the members' morale and enable them to perform their duties with greater responsibility.

Several local public representatives, including Mukhiya Vinod Chaudhary, Panchayat Samiti members Ashok Yadav, Ram Prakash Chaudhary, and Soni Kumari, along with Gram Raksha Dal members from various panchayats of the block, were present at the event. This initiative is expected to strengthen security arrangements across different panchayats within the Babubarhi police station area, as the uniforms will boost both the morale and recognition of the members.
