A special camp has been organized in Bihar for landowners affected by the Greenfield Expressway project to rectify land records. On the very first day, a large number of 'raiyats' (landowners) gathered at the camp to resolve their issues. This special campaign by the administration will continue until July 22, aiming to correct errors related to land acquisition and ensure proper compensation for the affected parties.

Under this expressway project, various discrepancies have been found in the land documents of farmers and landowners whose land is being acquired. These issues include errors in names on rent receipts, differences in land area, mistakes in father's names, or discrepancies in 'khata-khesra' (land parcel details). Such problems can lead to delays in compensation or incorrect compensation for the raiyats. To address these difficulties, the administration has set up this camp.

Revenue department officials are present at the camp, listening to the raiyats' problems and attempting to resolve them on the spot. Raiyats have been asked to bring all their original documents, such as land papers, rent receipts, Aadhaar cards, and bank passbooks, to facilitate the process. Officials state that this campaign will ensure transparency and no raiyat will be deprived of their rightful due.

This initiative has brought considerable satisfaction to the raiyats, as it saves them from repeatedly visiting government offices to resolve their issues. The administration has urged all concerned raiyats to take advantage of this opportunity and rectify all their land records before July 22 to receive fair and timely compensation under the Greenfield Expressway project.
