The second day of the Hanumat Pran-Pratishtha festival in Bariaria village, Sangrampur block, East Champaran district, was marked by various religious rituals and ceremonies. Amidst Vedic chanting, important rituals such as Jaladhivas (immersion in water), Annadhivas (placement on grains), Phaladhivas (placement on fruits), Pushpadhivas (placement on flowers), and Shayyadhivas (placement on a bed) were performed for the idol. The festival has created an atmosphere of devotion and faith in the region, with a large number of devotees participating.

The purpose of these rituals, conducted as part of the Pran-Pratishtha festival, is to imbue the idol with divine energy. In Jaladhivas, the idol is placed in water, symbolizing purification. In Annadhivas, it is placed on a heap of grains; in Phaladhivas, amidst fruits; and in Pushpadhivas, on a bed of flowers. These rituals are performed to respectively infuse the idol with the energy of grains, fruits, and flowers. Shayyadhivas involves placing the idol in a resting posture, signifying the state before awakening.

A team of learned pandits from Ayodhya Dham is present to conduct these religious activities. Under their guidance, all rituals are being performed according to prescribed customs. Local residents are showing great enthusiasm for this festival. Devotees from the village and surrounding areas are participating in prayers and singing devotional hymns. This event is fostering religious and cultural awareness throughout the region. Several more significant rituals and programs are scheduled for the upcoming days of the festival, with preparations underway in full swing.
