A Janata Darbar (public court) was organized on Friday at the Harnaut Circle Office in Nalanda district. During this public outreach program, a total of 12 applications related to land disputes and other associated matters were received. Circle Officer (CO) Dheeraj Kumar presided over the hearings for these applications. Out of the received applications, 7 cases were successfully resolved on the spot through mutual consent and necessary actions.

The primary objective of the Janata Darbar is to provide a platform for people to find quick solutions to their problems, especially complex land-related issues. This initiative offers significant relief to local residents, as they do not have to make repeated visits to government offices for the redressal of their grievances. CO Dheeraj Kumar stated that further action would be taken on the remaining 5 applications, and the concerned parties would be informed through due process. He emphasized that the Circle Office is committed to ensuring that all applications are resolved fairly and in a timely manner.

Other relevant officials and staff from the Circle Office were also present at the Janata Darbar, assisting in listening to and resolving applicants' complaints. Land disputes are a significant issue in Bihar, and such Janata Darbars play a crucial role in resolving these conflicts, thereby maintaining peace and social harmony. These events establish direct communication between the administration and the public, increasing transparency and accountability. The Harnaut Circle Office plans to organize such Janata Darbars regularly to benefit more people.
