The Hilsa Police in Nalanda district have successfully recovered 19 lost mobile phones under a special initiative called 'Operation Muskan'. All these phones have been returned to their rightful owners, bringing smiles back to their faces. Hilsa Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Krishna Murari Prasad announced this achievement during a press conference held at his office. He stated that these mobile phones were lost from various locations, and complaints regarding their disappearance were registered at the police station.

SDPO Prasad explained that the police team successfully traced these phones through a combination of technology and dedicated human effort. He emphasized that mobile phones today are not just communication devices but also contain personal information, important documents, and memories, making their loss a significant source of distress. 'Operation Muskan' aims to assist such individuals and help them recover their lost belongings.

The recovered mobiles included smartphones from various brands, with an estimated total value running into lakhs of rupees. The police summoned the phone owners, confirmed their identities and the registered complaints, before handing over their devices. The grateful owners expressed their appreciation for the Hilsa Police. This initiative has strengthened the bond of trust between the police and the public. The SDPO affirmed that such campaigns would continue to ensure that ordinary citizens receive timely police assistance and resolution for their problems. He urged citizens to promptly report lost mobile phones to the police to enable swift action.
