Security arrangements have been tightened along the India-Nepal border following recent violent incidents and the imposition of curfews in several regions of Nepal's Madhesh Province. The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Bihar Police, and other security agencies are on high alert along the border adjacent to Parihar block in Sitamarhi district.

Security forces are verifying the identity of every individual crossing the border from Nepal. Vehicles and goods are also undergoing thorough searches to promptly address any suspicious activity. Patrolling has been intensified in sensitive areas, and villages connected to the border are under close observation. On Monday, security agencies stated that vigilance has been increased at the border in view of the current situation.

The public has been urged not to heed rumors and to immediately report any suspicious persons or activities to the security forces or local police.
