Shekhpura police have successfully arrested an inter-district bike thief during a vehicle checking drive. The arrest took place in Barbigaha when the thief was returning to Barhiya with a motorcycle stolen from Shekhpura. The police have also seized the stolen bike.

According to information, vehicle checking campaigns are being continuously carried out in the district under the instructions of the Superintendent of Police to control crime and maintain law and order. During one such operation in the Barbigaha police station area, a suspicious person was stopped with a motorcycle. When asked for the vehicle's documents, he could not produce them and failed to give a satisfactory answer. The police grew suspicious and conducted a thorough interrogation.

During questioning, it was revealed that the motorcycle had been stolen from Shekhpura district. The accused confessed to being a member of an inter-district bike theft gang and admitted to committing several other similar incidents. The police immediately arrested the accused and seized the stolen motorcycle.
