The Jagdishpur-Mathia Buzurg road in Motihari district is in a deplorable state, drawing strong resentment from local youth. This crucial road, which connects to National Highway-28 (NH-28), has become riddled with potholes, causing immense difficulties for commuters and vehicle owners. It serves as a vital link for several villages, but its deteriorated condition has made travel arduous.

Local youth are continuously raising their voices for the road's repair. To express their protest in a unique way, they are creating and sharing reels and videos on social media, featuring the massive potholes. In these reels, the youth highlight the dilapidated state of the road, demanding immediate solutions from the government and administration. They state that the road has been in this poor condition for many years, and despite repeated complaints, no concrete action has been taken.

According to residents, the potholes are so large that during the rainy season, the road transforms into a pond. This significantly increases the risk of accidents and makes it almost impossible for smaller vehicles to pass. Students face difficulties reaching schools and colleges, while farmers struggle to transport their produce to markets. Locals have described traveling on this road as a challenge, especially at night.

Youth have warned that if the road is not repaired soon, they will be forced to launch a large-scale agitation. They have appealed to public representatives and the concerned department to take this issue seriously and resolve it on a priority basis, emphasizing that it is not just a road issue but concerns the daily lives and safety of thousands of people.
