A large crowd of devotees is gathering at the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Gyan Mahayagya organized in Jamalpur, Munger district. Devotees are being deeply moved by the discourse delivered by the revered storyteller, Saint Shri Devkinandan Thakur Ji Maharaj. Every day, a significant number of devotees are reaching the Katha venue and listening to the stories with full devotion.

During the discourse, the narrative of Sukdev Ji Maharaj and King Parikshit particularly captivated the devotees. The storyteller elaborated on how King Parikshit received a curse and how he listened to the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha to attain salvation. This episode highlighted the transient nature of life and the importance of devotion, leading the listeners into deep contemplation.

According to the organizers, the objective of the Katha is to spread religion, culture, and spirituality to the masses. Special arrangements have been made at the Katha venue for the convenience of devotees, including seating, drinking water, and distribution of prasad. Along with the Katha, bhajan-kirtan and other religious rituals are also being organized, making the entire atmosphere devotional.
