All preparations for the Independence Day celebrations in Jhajha block of Jamui district have been completed. The administration has released a detailed timetable for the flag-hoisting ceremony scheduled for August 15. Extensive arrangements have been made to observe the national festival with dignity.

According to the released schedule, Block Pramukh Badamiya Devi will hoist the national flag at 8:45 AM in the Block Office premises. Additionally, flag hoisting will also take place at the Sub-Divisional Police Office, Nagar Parishad, Referral Hospital, and Police Station, among other key government institutions, at their designated times. Block Development Officer Sunil Kumar Chand stated that necessary directives have been issued to all departments for the successful organization of the Independence Day celebrations. He emphasized that flag hoisting will be ensured at every government office and major institution at the scheduled time to ensure the program concludes with discipline.

The timetable indicates that the flag-hoisting program will commence at 8:30 AM at the Sub-Divisional Police Office. Subsequently, at 8:45 AM, Block Pramukh Badamiya Devi will hoist the flag and salute at the Block Office premises. The timings for flag hoisting at other major locations are as follows: Nagar Parishad Office at 9:45 AM, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya at 9:50 AM, Referral Hospital at 10:10 AM, Police Inspector's Office at 10:25 AM, and Jhajha Police Station at 10:30 AM. The block administration also informed that in addition to these main events, Independence Day celebrations will be organized in other government offices, schools, and various institutions. All concerned officials have been instructed to complete the programs on time and ensure necessary arrangements.
