At least six people were injured in a severe collision between a passenger bus and an auto-rickshaw on National Highway-27 in the Jhanjharpur sub-division. The accident occurred within the Jhanjharpur police station area, creating a chaotic scene on the highway. Local residents and the police quickly responded, transporting all the injured to the Jhanjharpur Sub-Divisional Hospital.

According to hospital sources, two of the injured sustained serious wounds and were referred to Madhubani Sadar Hospital for advanced treatment after receiving initial care. The remaining four individuals are being treated at Jhanjharpur Sub-Divisional Hospital, and their condition is reported to be stable and out of danger.

Eyewitnesses described the collision as extremely forceful, resulting in significant damage to the auto-rickshaw.
