In Kahalgaon, Bhagalpur district, residents are facing significant inconvenience due to the incomplete repair work of the damaged Koa bridge. The bridge has been closed to traffic for the past two months, negatively impacting daily life and commercial activities. District Councilor Janardan Prasad Azad has written to the District Magistrate, demanding the swift repair and reopening of the bridge to the public.

In his letter, Janardan Prasad Azad highlighted that MLA Shubhanand Mukesh and Road Construction Minister Er. Kumar Shailendra had assured that the bridge would be operational before Durga Puja, but this promise has not been fulfilled. He warned that if the bridge is not reopened by October 26, he will go on a hunger strike. Local residents report that the closure of the bridge forces them to travel longer distances, resulting in a waste of both time and money. An immediate solution to this problem is essential to restore normal life in the area.
