Essential maintenance work is scheduled for August 13 on the Kahalgaon and Sanhaula feeders in Bhagalpur. Consequently, power supply from the 33 KV Kahalgaon and Sanhaula feeders, operated from the Kahalgaon grid sub-station, will be suspended for two hours. The shutdown will be in effect from 11 AM to 1 PM, impacting electricity supply in the concerned areas.

The electricity department stated that this maintenance is crucial for improving the power system and ensuring uninterrupted supply to consumers. Anand Kumar, engineer of the Kahalgaon-Ekchari electricity subdivision, has urged consumers to complete their essential electricity-related tasks before the scheduled time and to cooperate with the department during the power outage.

The engineer also assured that power supply would be restored to normal at the stipulated time after the maintenance work is completed. The department emphasizes that such periodic maintenance activities enhance the technical condition of power lines and equipment, thereby helping to reduce future power disruptions and providing better service to consumers.
