श्रावणी मेला के लिए कटिहार-मनिहारी रूट पर दो जोड़ी स्पेशल ट्रेनें चलेंगी

श्रावणी मेला के दौरान श्रद्धालुओं की सुविधा के लिए पूर्वोत्तर सीमांत रेलवे ने कटिहार-मनिहारी रेलखंड पर दो जोड़ी श्रावणी मेला स्पेशल ट्रेनों का परिचालन करने का निर्णय लिया है। इन विशेष ट्रेनों के संचालन से श्रद्धालुओं के साथ-साथ अन्य यात्रियों को भी यात्रा में बड़ी राहत मिलेगी।
कटिहार रेल मंडल के सीनियर मंडल वाणिज्य प्रबंधक सह मुख्य जनसंपर्क अधिकारी अनूप कुमार सिंह ने बताया कि श्रावणी मेला के दौरान यात्रियों की बढ़ती भीड़ को देखते हुए रेलवे प्रशासन ने यह फैसला लिया है। इसका मुख्य उद्देश्य श्रद्धालुओं को सुरक्षित, सुगम और आरामदायक यात्रा उपलब्ध कराना है।
उन्होंने विस्तृत जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि ट्रेन संख्या 07540/07539 कटिहार-मनिहारी-कटिहार श्रावणी मेला स्पेशल का परिचालन 25 जुलाई से 24 अगस्त 2026 तक कुल 22 फेरों में किया जाएगा। वहीं, ट्रेन संख्या 07542/07541 कटिहार-मनिहारी-कटिहार श्रावणी मेला स्पेशल 27 जुलाई से 21 अगस्त 2026 तक 8 फेरों के लिए निर्धारित की गई है। ये दोनों ट्रेनें अपने निर्धारित मार्ग के स्टेशनों पर रुकते हुए संचालित होंगी।
रेलवे प्रशासन ने यात्रियों की सुविधा को ध्यान में रखते हुए स्टेशन परिसरों में होल्डिंग एरिया, अतिरिक्त टिकट काउंटर और पेयजल की विशेष व्यवस्था करने का भी निर्णय लिया है, ताकि श्रद्धालुओं को किसी प्रकार की असुविधा न हो।
To facilitate devotees during the Shravani Mela, the Northeast Frontier Railway has decided to operate two pairs of special Shravani Mela trains on the Katihar-Manihari railway section. These special trains will provide significant relief to devotees and other passengers alike.
Anup Kumar Singh, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager and Chief Public Relations Officer of Katihar Railway Division, stated that the railway administration made this decision considering the increasing passenger rush during the Shravani Mela. The primary objective is to provide safe, convenient, and comfortable travel to the devotees.
He further elaborated that train number 07540/07539 Katihar-Manihari-Katihar Shravani Mela Special will operate for a total of 22 trips from July 25 to August 24, 2026. Additionally, train number 07542/07541 Katihar-Manihari-Katihar Shravani Mela Special is scheduled for 8 trips from July 27 to August 21, 2026. Both trains will halt at designated stations along their routes.
The railway administration has also decided to arrange holding areas, additional ticket counters, and special drinking water facilities at station premises to ensure passenger convenience and a smooth experience for pilgrims.
