Khirhar police have made a significant seizure, confiscating 7 liters of Nepali country-made liquor and a motorcycle. Acting on a tip-off, the police conducted a raid and arrested one individual who was allegedly preparing to sell the illicit alcohol brought from Nepal. This operation was part of a special drive launched under the directives of the Superintendent of Police.

According to police sources, Khirhar police received intelligence about an individual transporting illegal liquor from Nepal with the intent to sell it in Bihar. Following this information, a team was formed under the leadership of the Station House Officer, and a cordon was established at the specified location. During a check, a motorcyclist was stopped, and a search revealed 7 liters of Nepali country-made liquor. The police immediately seized the liquor and the motorcycle and arrested the suspect.

The arrested individual has been identified and is currently being interrogated. Preliminary investigations suggest that the accused had been involved in this illegal trade for a considerable period. Police are continuing their investigation to identify and apprehend other members of this network. Authorities emphasize their ongoing efforts to curb liquor smuggling in border areas, vowing strict action against all involved. The arrested accused has been sent to judicial custody.
