A block-level public dialogue program was organized on Tuesday by Ara MP Sudama Prasad at Devi Sthan near Thana Chowk in Koilwar Nagar Panchayat. Residents from various villages across the block attended the event, presenting their local issues to the MP. Key concerns included road construction, railway underpasses, train stoppages, inadequate health facilities, and persistent traffic jams.

Demands were made for the construction of a road from Koilwar Thana Chowk to the Mental Hospital, an underpass at Gidha on the Ara-Patna four-lane highway, and the fencing of the local cemetery. Regarding railway services, a specific demand was raised for the stoppage of the Ara-Sasaram Fast Passenger and Intercity Express trains at Koilwar Station. Attendees also urged for the appointment of sufficient doctors and the availability of essential medicines at the block hospital to improve healthcare facilities.

The issue of poor road and drainage infrastructure in Khetari Mohalla, Ward Four of the Nagar Panchayat, was also highlighted. Furthermore, residents expressed significant concern over the continuous traffic congestion in Koilwar, stating that it causes daily inconvenience. They cited a recent incident where a student's leg was severed, attributing it to the traffic jam. The MP listened attentively to all grievances and assured the attendees that he would work towards their resolution.
