A serious incident has been reported from Dadra village in Sonpur block, where a laborer was severely electrocuted by a generator. The incident occurred late Wednesday night, leaving the worker in critical condition. He was immediately admitted to a local hospital for treatment.

According to available information, the laborer was engaged in his work when he suddenly came into contact with a live wire from the generator. The electric shock was so powerful that he sustained severe burns. Other individuals present at the scene promptly cut off the power supply and rushed the injured worker to the hospital.

Doctors have stated that a significant portion of the laborer's body has been burned due, and his condition remains critical. He has been placed in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and is under continuous observation. Medical teams are making every possible effort to save him.

The incident has created an atmosphere of fear in the village. Local residents have urged the electricity department and generator operators to adhere to safety standards to prevent similar occurrences in the future. They have also demanded that the administration take strict action against those found negligent. Police have registered a case and are investigating the causes of the incident.
