Five people, including two women, were injured in a severe road accident in Lakhisarai district when an uncontrolled auto-rickshaw collided with a vehicle carrying sugarcane juice. Due to the severity of the accident, two seriously injured individuals have been referred to Patna for better medical treatment.

According to available information, the incident occurred near Lakhisarai town. Passengers in the auto-rickshaw were heading towards their destination when the auto driver lost control of the vehicle. The uncontrolled auto directly collided with a sugarcane juice vehicle coming from the opposite direction. The impact was so strong that the auto was severely damaged, and all its occupants were injured.

Local residents and passersby immediately initiated rescue efforts. They pulled the injured out of the auto and transported them to the nearest hospital. After receiving first aid at the hospital, doctors assessed the condition of the injured. Due to the critical condition of two individuals, it was decided to immediately refer them to Patna for specialized medical care.

Among the injured in this accident are two women who sustained serious injuries. Upon receiving information about the incident, the police arrived at the scene and have started an investigation. The police may interrogate the auto driver and the driver of the sugarcane juice vehicle to ascertain the cause of the accident. This incident once again highlights the need for road safety and adherence to traffic rules. Overspeeding and negligent driving often lead to such serious accidents.
