A tragic incident occurred near Lakhisarai railway station where an unidentified woman was fatally struck by a freight train while attempting to cross the railway tracks. The accident took place around 11 AM near the western cabin of Lakhisarai railway station. According to reports, the woman was crossing the tracks when she was hit by a speeding goods train. The impact was so severe that her body was dismembered, making immediate identification difficult.

Local residents and the Railway Protection Force (RPF) were immediately alerted and arrived at the scene. The RPF has taken custody of the body and initiated further proceedings. Efforts are underway to identify the woman based on an Aadhaar card and other documents found on her person.
