Jaiprakash Mandal, Block Education Officer (BEO) cum Block Panchayati Raj Officer (BPRO) of Laukahi block in Madhubani district, was given a farewell ceremony. The event, held at Surya Prasad Plus Two High School auditorium in Laukahi, saw teachers, officials, public representatives, and dignitaries praising his tenure, amiable nature, and work style. He was wished well for his new assignment in Araria.

Headmaster and Cluster Coordinator Ramashish Mandal highlighted Jaiprakash Mandal's emphasis on human relations alongside administrative duties. Ranjeet Kumar Yadav, District Convener of Bihar Teacher's Association, lauded his cooperative approach towards teachers. Block Chief Deonarayan Singh, District Councilors Vinod Sah and Ram Lakhan Yadav also commended his tenure. BDO Amit Kumar spoke of the excellent administrative coordination he shared with Mandal.

On this occasion, Block Agriculture Officer Shalvi Kumari also shared her positive experience of working with Jaiprakash Mandal, appreciating his support and guidance. During the ceremony, there was extensive discussion about Shalvi Kumari potentially becoming the new Block Education Officer of Laukahi. Attendees expressed hope that she would be assigned this crucial responsibility. However, no official order has been issued yet, and the final decision will only be clear after directives from senior officials.

Jaiprakash Mandal, visibly emotional, stated that his time in Laukahi was not merely a period of government service but a phase of deep personal relationships. He apologized if any of his decisions during his tenure had caused offense, emphasizing that while his administrative transfer had occurred, the relationships remained. The program was conducted by Bharat Bhushan Jha. Former BRP Bhagya Narayan Sahu, Block Resource Person MDM Purushottam Kumar, Degree College Principal Ashok Kumar, Laukahi SHO Gaurav Kumar, along with many other teachers, staff, and public representatives, were present at the event.
