Doctors in Purnia's Line Bazar area are expressing strong dissatisfaction over persistent power cuts. Members of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) have announced their intention to send an application with hundreds of signatures to the Chief Secretary of the Bihar government and lodge a complaint with the Chief Minister regarding this issue.

Dr. Vinod Dharewa, Dr. Ajay Kumar, IMA President Dr. Ashutosh Chaudhary, former President Dr. Alok Kumar, Secretary Prince Pankaj, and Treasurer Dr. Tarkeshwar Kumar, among other medical professionals, have voiced their concerns. They stated that nursing homes, pathology labs, and diagnostic centers are severely affected by the power outages. The doctors highlighted that they are forced to spend millions of rupees on generators, which increases the cost of healthcare services and causes inconvenience to patients.

Executive Engineer Balveer Prasad Bagish clarified that the power cuts are due to maintenance work being carried out until Sunday in view of Durga Puja. However, doctors are demanding a regular and permanent solution to ensure uninterrupted essential health services.
