Devotees visiting the renowned Maa Ugratara Temple in Mahishi, Saharsa district, have received significant relief. The temple management has removed the grille that surrounded the idol, allowing devotees to have an unobstructed view of the deity. This grille had been causing inconvenience to worshippers for some time, as it prevented a clear and complete darshan of the idol.

According to temple sources, the grille was initially installed for security reasons, but it led to considerable discomfort for visitors. Many devotees had appealed to the temple committee and local administration to address this issue. Responding to the growing demands and inconvenience faced by the worshippers, the temple committee unanimously decided to remove the grille.

The removal of the grille has brought joy among the devotees. They can now directly view and offer their prayers to the idol of Maa Ugratara. This move aligns with the temple's long-standing traditions and the sentiments of its devotees. The Maa Ugratara Temple is considered a Siddhapeeth, attracting pilgrims from far and wide seeking to fulfill their wishes.
