मधेपुर स्थित उच्च विद्यालय परिसर में भारी बारिश के कारण हुए जलजमाव की समस्या का समाधान निकालने के लिए प्रखंड विकास पदाधिकारी (बीडीओ) और प्रखंड शिक्षा पदाधिकारी (बीईओ) ने संयुक्त रूप से निरीक्षण किया। इस जलजमाव के कारण विद्यालय के लगभग 400 छात्र-छात्राओं की पढ़ाई बुरी तरह प्रभावित हो रही है। विद्यालय परिसर और कक्षाओं तक में पानी भर जाने से बच्चों को स्कूल आने-जाने में भारी परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ रहा है।
निरीक्षण के दौरान बीडीओ ने जलजमाव की गंभीरता को समझा और संबंधित अधिकारियों को जल्द से जल्द इस समस्या का समाधान करने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि बच्चों की शिक्षा किसी भी कीमत पर बाधित नहीं होनी चाहिए। बीईओ ने भी अपनी चिंता व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि अगर यह समस्या जल्द नहीं सुलझी, तो बच्चों का शैक्षणिक नुकसान और बढ़ेगा।
विद्यालय के प्रधानाध्यापक ने बताया कि हर साल बारिश के मौसम में यह समस्या उत्पन्न होती है, जिससे बच्चों की उपस्थिति पर भी बुरा असर पड़ता है। उन्होंने कई बार स्थानीय प्रशासन से इस बारे में शिकायत की है, लेकिन स्थायी समाधान अब तक नहीं निकल पाया है। अभिभावकों ने भी प्रशासन से गुहार लगाई है कि वे इस दिशा में ठोस कदम उठाएं ताकि उनके बच्चों की पढ़ाई सुचारु रूप से चल सके।
अधिकारियों ने आश्वासन दिया है कि वे जल निकासी की व्यवस्था को दुरुस्त करने के लिए आवश्यक कदम उठाएंगे, जिसमें नाले की सफाई और यदि आवश्यक हो तो नई जल निकासी प्रणाली का निर्माण शामिल है। उम्मीद है कि इस निरीक्षण के बाद जल्द ही विद्यालय परिसर को जलजमाव से मुक्ति मिलेगी और छात्र-छात्राएं बिना किसी बाधा के अपनी पढ़ाई जारी रख पाएंगे।
The Block Development Officer (BDO) and Block Education Officer (BEO) jointly inspected the Madhepur High School campus following severe waterlogging caused by heavy rainfall. This issue has significantly disrupted the studies of approximately 400 students. The school premises and even classrooms are inundated, making it extremely difficult for children to attend school.
During the inspection, the BDO acknowledged the gravity of the waterlogging and instructed concerned officials to resolve the problem as soon as possible, emphasizing that children's education should not be hampered at any cost. The BEO also expressed concern, stating that if the issue is not addressed promptly, the academic loss for students will increase.
The school principal informed that this problem recurs every monsoon, adversely affecting student attendance. Despite repeated complaints to the local administration, a permanent solution has not yet been found. Parents have also appealed to the administration to take concrete steps to ensure their children's education can continue smoothly.
Officials have assured that they will take necessary measures to improve the drainage system, including cleaning existing drains and, if required, constructing new ones. It is hoped that following this inspection, the school campus will soon be free from waterlogging, allowing students to continue their studies without interruption.
